I should be doing something productive right now while I wait for my mac n' cheese bowl to cook in the microwave.
College. It really isn't that different from everyday living. Ya know, with the exception of no AC, reading all day long, using a highlighter more than you thought possible, seeing people passed out on the curb on a Friday/ Saturday nights/mornings, eating your dinners from your microwave, waking up to a busted fire alarm, increasing your time spent on Xbox live to a modest 0% to an addicting 100%, and praying that the guy before you in the shower didn't piss everywhere, it's really the same as staying at home.
The YOUnited nations video was finished on time. It was sent with about an hour left before the deadline was over. Hopefully, I sent the right file. Sorry if I didn't, guys. Regardless, a video has been made and if it isn't chosen then it will be posted shortly.
My last night in town was spent filming at City National bank in Teays Valley. I had gone out earlier that day and purchased some plexi-glass along with purple, green, and red acrylic paint. Oh, and add 3 camel haired brushes (Apparently that's a big deal because the box really pushed that it's contents were made from the finest camels Egypt has to offer) to my total and I had spent a pocket cleaning $35. Actually, looking back now, that seems a lot more like a bargain. No, on second thought that's still a lot of money for a broke college kid. Then again I did spend $10 0n a burrito the other night. No lie. Did I go off track? Anywho, I cut the plexi-glass into 3 sheets and covered each one in separate color.
Exhibit A:
Exhibit B:
Each piece of cut glass would act as a filter for the lights at the bank and blah, blah, blah, blah. I sound like Tim Allen from Home Improvement. Minus the explosions and crazy mishaps.
You'll have to wait to see the video to see how it turned out, but pretty much the night turned into games of leap frog and playing S.K.A.T.E. every five seconds. A great send off if you ask me.
Notice Brandon's exceptional leap froggery form:
I'm thinking about sending that into Transworld as a sequence.
